Thankfully, he is saved by a totally-not-VOID-agent/deserter by the name of 78. The whole head-ripping business somehow turns him into an immortal VOID monster as well.<br /> <br /> Sam continues on his journey to gather as much power as possible, be it through fancy armours and weapons or the machines of the ancients, and finds love along the way -- in the form of 78, his sole companion on this VOID-ravaged planet, whom he marries.<br /> <br /> This idyllic existence is cut short by the unexpected arrival of Grignr, who becomes 78's lover. Absolutely livid at this turn of events, Sam reasserts control over his quest for catharsis by killing Grignr and two baby clones of Grignr in several gruesome ways.<br /> <br /> But Grignr is not just one person -- Grignr is a concept that exists in multiple forms.
