Summary by Episode

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #1 - The Eerie Tree

  • After a tumultuous crash landing, Igor Throog moves into an abandoned ruin. Following some renovations, her efforts are disrupted when a group of bugs decide to attack her fancy new cooler. Later, Igor smacks an aerofleet and gets burnt. Despite these challenges, Igor's adventurous spirit remains undaunted. She stumbles upon an Eerie Tree, the mysteries of which leave her proper befuddled after investigating. As the night falls, Igor awakes having created an ominous Grimoire!

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #2 - Mechanoids and Spiders

  • Igor Throog, due to mod compatibility issues, suddenly finds herself on an unfamiliar planet. To her surprise, her shooting and melee stats have been swapped, and she now possesses a firearm instead of her trusty titanium hook. Undeterred, Igor moves to another abandoned ruin, which now has a Bonecreet chess set. She embarks on a mission to restore and renovate this new base to her liking. As she settles in, a panther takes up residence in the base and eventually decides to hunt Igor. Fortunately, she manages to kill it and escape unharmed. Igor's eventful journey continues with encounters against three Scythers, a Monkey, and a Raider whom she captures with intentions of organ harvesting. Intriguingly, Igor stumbles upon another eerie tree, sparking her curiosity. This eerie discovery inspires her to pen a new Grimoire!

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #3 - Consuming Elder Demons

  • Unable to torture her defenceless prisoner, Igor shifts her attention towards recruiting them instead. The cult steadily advances as Igor places their grimoire atop a bone altar, officially naming it "The Cult of Jerry King." Following the establishment of this cult, a solitary Agent from the Agency happens to pass by but fortunately remains oblivious to any cult activity, as they were gored by a wild boar. Igor's adventures escalate as she confronts a Monkey, three Crows, and two Raiders, in addition to an Elder Thing. She also shoots at the mist from the doorway of their base!

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #4 - Vote on the Cult Name and Elder Demon Joins!

  • MrSamuelStreamer notices Igor's descent into insanity and drives her mad, leading her to become profoundly sleepy. Despite her weariness, Igor continues to eliminate crows and successfully persuades her captive, Abeneiro, to join her cause. Abeneiro names the faction "Cult," and christens their settlement as "Igor's Madness." Meanwhile, Sam promotes democracy and asks for suggestions from the comment section for alternative names. An Orion soldier arrives, mounted on a rhinoceros, engaging in a fierce confrontation that results in the soldier's defeat but leaves Igor with a gunshot wound to her left lung destroying it. To compound their challenges, a blight strikes the colony's crops and plans for a base expansion are laid. Seeking refuge from two penitents, an Elder Thing named Dafitada-Fa joins the colony, and the colony swiftly deals with the intruders by shooting and killing them. Later, Igor trades with a local faction and catches muscle parasites and Sam builds a rudimentary killbox.

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #5 - Blood Moon

  • Sam further refines the killbox plan and begins the process of reorganizing the base and implementing crafting schedules. A blood moon rises, casting an eerie red glow over the colony. Another Orion soldier attempts an attack but meets a ruthless end, and a bizarre event unfolds as 45 shrimp inexplicably fall from the sky. The cult is rechristened as the "Cult of the Elder Four," and the settlement takes on the name "Throog's Abyss" under the crimson hue of the blood moon. As the event concludes, the colonists undergo a renaming process; Dafitada-Fa becomes Yankey Dankey, and Abeneiro is reborn as Alkhemia. A distress signal is received, drawing Alkhemia on a daring rescue mission, embarking completely naked and without medical supplies. Meanwhile, a revelation in the colony leads to the disposal of all fine meals containing meat from Yankey Dankey's species. Yankey Dankey engages in a fistfight with an alpaca, while Alkhemia sets out to rescue the stranded ally Tara-Ti. A tense encounter with an ostrich results in Alkhemia losing a thumb. Then Yankey Dankey initiates a rescue mission to save Alkhemia and Tara-Ti, who are stranded in the mountains without food. Amidst these events, Igor succumbs to madness, causing chaos within the base. Despite the turmoil, Igor manages to rescue a wounded woman named Maghar. Maghar, now part of the community, is renamed Noblesse.

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #6 - The Cult Grows!

  • Igor's descent into madness leads to a chaotic outbreak of fires within the base, Noblesse works diligently to extinguish the flames. Undeterred by the turmoil, Igor embarks on the ambitious project of carving out the mountain face to prepare for the construction of the cult's Church. Amidst this, a scorching heat wave blankets the colony. To power the new coolers needed to combat the sweltering conditions, the cult adopts a more environmentally conscious approach, installing solar panels and wind turbines to harness renewable energy. The rescue team, along with the rescue team-rescue team, returns to the colony, with Tara-Ti receiving a new name, El-Kcip[in homage to Patron InsanePickle]. A local boomalope goes mad and is shot to death by Noblesse. Sam sets up tasks to create clothes for the Humans of the colony and declares that everyone shall have Bone armour! In order to get both that and sick rhino leather jackets, MrStreamer orders the colony to attack a herd of rhinos which immediately goes manhunter. The colony defeats them and rejoices for their new meat, leather and bones! A researcher named Shepherd-Fin falls from the sky and El-Kcip is sent out to rescue them and they immediately pledged their loyalty to the colony and simultaneously a black cat named Shelley appeared! Nick the paramedic is accepted into the colony after being chased by lost soldiers. Shepherd-Fin earns the name El-ring and Nick becomes the almighty Dave!

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #7 - Entirely Bone Church

  • Dave takes it upon himself to tame local alpacas, potential mounts for the cult's future battles. Remarkably, on his initial attempt, he successfully tames three alpacas, proving his worth to the community. As the colony continues to excavate the mountain for the construction of their future church, the old church is repurposed into a makeshift barracks to accommodate the growing number of colonists. Work progresses on the bone floors and walls for the mountain church. However, tragedy strikes when Igor and Dave encounter a horde of rampaging elephants during an excursion to collect more bones. In the encounter, both are trampled. Igor, fortunate to be rescued by the rest of the colony, loses an eye in the process. Tragically, Dave and El-Kcip succumb to their injuries. Dave and El-Kcip are butchered and incorporated into the walls of the bone church, alongside the elephants that took their lives. This gruesome act leaves Alkhemia deeply traumatized, leading to a profound emotional breakdown within the colony and sustains injuries during this time that ended up getting infected. After a prolonged struggle, Igor finally overcomes her muscle parasites and embarks on constructing a new bone altar. The arrival of three more crows is met with being them hunted down by the colony. In a brief but intense battle, the colony emerges with two new prisoners but not without a cost. Igor sustains a permanent gunshot scar to her brain, and the beloved cat, Shelly, meets a tragic end. Strangely, a random dead crow appears, seemingly a symbol of displeasure from the gods, reflecting MrSamuelStreamer's neglect in letting Shelly die. Adding to the colony's woes, a Deep One begins stalking them, while El-Ring stabbed Igor in the leg. The Deep One is eventually dispatched, but the horrifying sight of the creature drives Noblesse to madness. In a desperate attempt to protect herself, Alkhemia ends up shooting Noblesse's arm clean off!

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #8 - Worshipping Elder Gods

  • The colony embarks on a path to mend the injuries of its members by resorting to the harvesting of organs and limbs from their new prisoners. Despite initial setbacks, El-Ring ultimately succeeds in extracting a lung and an eye from the prisoners, successfully transplanting them into Igor. This grisly procedure gives Igor a chance at recovery. The cult celebrates a significant moment as they hold their first sermons, following their discovery of the ancient deity Dagon. The Killbox and other fortifications are nearing their final stages of completion, enhancing the colony's defences. The prisoner formerly known as Michael, now dubbed Rhino D'Elephant after his generous 'donation' to Igor, is recruited into the cult and assigned the role of colony chef. Plans are laid out for the next expansion of the mountainous base, as the colony continues to evolve and adapt.

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #9 - A Familiar Face...

  • Operation Massive Stonker is launched to mend the gaping hole in the colony's defenses. In a surprising turn of events, Alkhemia, who had vehemently opposed the cult, is officially initiated, showcasing the stonking charisma of Igor. Curiously, a cargo pod containing dead eels falls into the river, leading MrSamuelStreamer to assert that they are now "fine," despite being lifeless corpses. Tensions rise within the colony as Noblesse bites El-Ring after he calls her ugly. A blight once again strikes the colony, devastating their crops. Mr SamuelStreamer nonchalantly remarks that they don't really need the crops, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the colony has only 9 meals and 18 rice, as they've been converting all their meat into wax. Later as the colony faces a shortage of meat, MrSamuelStreamer resorts to hunting rats and rhinos. Amidst these challenges, a prisoner manages to break down the Bonecreet door, further complicating matters. The rhinos, seek revenge, charge through the killbox, where there numbers mean nothing. Following this encounter, the colony works swiftly to repair the broken makeshift prison door, as it is vital for their ability to sleep. Amidst these repairs, the colonists take a break and consume raw fish, only to be struck by a sudden solar flare. Undeterred, the colony prepares to create cultist vestments and assemble a significant offering of raw fish and rhino meat to display their unwavering devotion to Dagon. This endeavor takes several days but is abruptly interrupted by the arrival of six raiders, among whom is the formidable Everqueen. Due to the incomplete state of Operation Massive Stonker, the raiders manage to bypass the ultimate killbox, leading to a rapid and intense battle. In the heat of the conflict, the Everqueen loses her head to a well-placed shot. The colony swiftly constructs a new freezer to preserve the Everqueen's body for potential revival and indoctrination into the cult. In their haste to preserve the body, the colonists disassemble sandbags, kitchen cupboards, a nearby ruin, and even the comms console to gather the necessary raw materials for the construction of the new freezer.

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #10 - Pointy-hat Cult

  • MrSamuelStreamer unveils a plan to utilize the Everqueen's body for the creation of a genetic horror clone army. As the expansion of the mountain church progresses, A small enclave is found within the mountain's depths. The colony also undertakes a re-evaluation of the mountain base's entrance and commences the construction of actual bedrooms for the colonists. A refugee named Pickles joins the colony, arriving just as Operation Massive Stonker was nearing completion. Their arrival provides a perfect opportunity to put the operation to the test, as they were being pursued by two enemies. With Operation Massive Stonker now complete, the enemies are funneled through the killbox, where one meets a swift demise. In honour of the late El-Kcip, Pickles is given a new name. With Noblesse now rendered completely armless, a difficult decision is made to harvest one of her arms from the remaining prisoner. This is followed by the harvesting of other limbs and organs from the prisoner to address the needs of other colonists.

Rimworld 1.0: Cult of Igor #11 - Cult Disbanded!

  • As the expansion of the mountain base continues, plans for additional bedrooms are drafted and a more robust power system is in the works, including batteries and future watermill generators. Food shortages plague the colony once again, leading them to resort to hunting local wildlife like capybara to sustain themselves. However, a power crisis unfolds when the wood generators run out of fuel while Igor attempts to prepare meals. The colonists are left with no choice but to eat raw meat and corpses while waiting for the power grid to stabilize.
