- Although Maj. Pain originally died to a mechanoid raid in episode #4 of Combat Extended, the series was restarted in episode #5 and this time, he survived.
- When the series restarted Maj. Pain lost the Chemical fascination trait, 12 skill in crafting, 10 skill in cooking, and the passions for both. He did however gain 2 skill in melee and both a minor passion for and 20 skill in intellectual.
- The relationship between Col.Moose and Maj. Pain did not carry over when the series restarted.
