Introduction
- Coughing and coughing and coughing. "Where's Rimrim"? Well my dear sweet friend, after suddenly being blindsided by the previous series ending way earlier than expected, I didn't have anything prepared. I was working on a CK3 modpack and Fallout London for the second channel instead, and then I had to suddenly drop EVERYTHING because I had the indecency to WIN last series. And THEN to top it ALL OFF I got bloody Covid, again. Normally it didn't bother me, just a little cold, but this time it's like NAH, you're sleeping for 13 hours pal and you're gonna like it. So here we are, this is what happens. I don't think the idea was bad per se, it just needed a little more time in the oven. The single scary enemy idea is always fun, and the quest rewards being the primary way to make cash is very Bounty Hunter too, but we need a base. A nice, lovely base, to live in. Maybe that's what we'll do. We'll continue with this series and we'll have necromancer Shaggy, or a Lesbocracy led by Daphne and Velma, who have seen the weekness of men and seek to annhilate them all. That would be a fun idea. But people would take it too seriously. "Mr Streamer is problematic", "he hates all men", "I'm not playing that" grow up, it's a dozen pixels on a screen. Go outside. The real world is out there, not the very loud and opinionated men screaming on thumbnails about something totally forgiveable Disney has done. Everything I loved growing up has been tarred and drained for all its worth, but that doesn't devalue what I enjoyed before. We're are in a creative zenith right now as a civilisation where tools are free and accessible to all, not just the rich and upper echelons. Who cares if big media is bad, for every one dud Marvel film there's a dozen other interesting concepts being up out. But, you know, who cares about that, just click another bloke getting angry because OUTRAGE CULTURE. This platform is dead. Clickbait can get in the bin. MrBeast can get in the bin. So I'm just going to sit here and keep playing Rimrim. Thanks.
